Gabriel Arana-Fuentes

I am a writer, reporter, live presenter, and editor. My career began in 2002, and for the last 20 years, I have worked in print media such as Siglo Veintiuno, Diario de Centro América, and elPeriódico. In the digital field, I have worked for Relato, Terra Guatemala, and República. At the latter, I received the National Award for Cultural Journalism, awarded by the Ministry of Culture and Sports in 2017. My main focus in journalism has been on entertainment and culture. I have also been a professor at Rafael Landívar University and DaVinci University. Currently, I am the director of the experiential journalism website gonzo-gonzo.com, and I also work as an independent consultant, offering writing courses and professional and academic writing advice. I have published two children's books: the educational video game "Lúmina, el libro del mundo," and the children's novel "Gala y el Manuscrito legendario," which will be released in November 2022. Both of these works were developed in collaboration with Editorial Santillana.
